Women's Tennis Drops Decision to Cleveland State

DAYTON, Ohio - The Wright State women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Cleveland State on Saturday at Five Seasons Tennis Club in Dayton.

WSU posted it's only win of the match at the #1 doubles position. Christa Ames and Kenisha Webb teamed up to post an 8-6 victory over Sandra Bjelan and Denisa Muetean to open the match. CSU would claim the next two doubles matches to claim the doubles point.

The Vikings (13-5, 2-1 HL) would win all six of the singles matches over WSU (1-13, 0-4 HL) to take the match 7-0.

Wright State will next be in action on Wednesday, April 9 against crosstown rival Dayton starting at 3:00. The match between Dayton and Wright State will take place at Dayton Center Courts.
