Results

The Wright State women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to Detroit in its Horizon League opener Friday at the South Regency Tennis Center.

Amy Nini picked up the lone win for WSU in singles play as she won in fifth singles 6-2, 3-6, 10-5. The Raiders won the doubles point by winning two doubles matches led by Masha Peresetsky/Kenisha Webb (8-6) in first doubles and Nini/Jackie Garrett (9-7) in third.

Wright State, now 7-5 overall and 0-1 in the Horizon League, heads to Florida this week for matches against Bethune-Cookman on Monday at 1:00 and Florida Atlantic Wednesday at 2:00.
