The Wright State women's tennis team dropped a 4-1 decision to Detroit in the first round of the Horizon League Championships Thursday at North Central High School in Indianapolis.

The duo of Amy Nini and Lizzy Clark won in #3 doubles 9-8 (4), but the Titans won the other two matches to claim the doubles point. WSU's lone win in singles came from Kayla Tuscany in #1 singles as she won 6-4, 6-0.

Wright State (13-10) now takes on Milwaukee in the fifth-place match on Friday starting at 9:00.
