Baseball Falls to Seton Hall

The Wright State baseball team dropped an 11-4 decision to Seton Hall Friday at the Virginia Tournament in Charlottesville, Virginia.
The Raiders jumped out an early lead against the Pirates with three in the first. Corey Davis led off with a hit and after Sam Picchiotti reached on an error on a bunt attempt, both runners moved up one out later on a balk. Tristan Moore followed with a RBI single to left, advanced to second on a wild pitch and both he and Picchiotti scored on Garrett Gray's infield single to third along with another Seton Hall error.
The Pirates, though, answered with four in the top of the second, four more in the fourth and three in the sixth. WSU's final run came in the sixth as Zach Tanner tripled to center and came in on a Gray grounder to second.
The second game of the day against Virginia was cancelled due to rain.
Wright State (1-6) continues play in the tournament with a game against Virginia Saturday at 6:00, followed by another matchup versus Seton Hall on Sunday at 11:00.
