The Wright State men's basketball team found the offense hard to come by Saturday, shooting just 23 percent in dropping a 66-39 decision at George Mason.

WSU only trailed 14-9 with eight minutes remaining in the first half before the Patriots closed the period with an 18-1 run to go up 32-10 at the break.

The Raiders hit just two of 26 shots in the first half while George Mason shot 43 percent.

Wright State would get no closer than 19 points in the second half as GMU shot 46 percent from the field for the game compared to 23 percent for WSU.

Grant Benzinger paced the Raiders with 11 points off the bench while Mark Alstork had nine.

Wright State (2-4) returns home for two games next week, hosting Albion on Tuesday, December 1, at 7:00 and Georgia State on Friday, December 4, at 7:30.
