The Racers led 7-4 early before the Raiders went on a 13-4 run, capped off by threes from Mark Alstork and Biggie Minnis, to take the lead for good at 17-11.  The margin was at six before Wright State scored the final seven points of the half to go up 36-23 at the break.

WSU shot 48 percent from the field in the opening 20 minutes, including four of 10 three-pointers, while MSU shot 46 percent, but was just one of 12 from behind the arc.

Murray State opened the second half with a 16-4 burst over 5:17 to only trail 40-39, but back came the Raiders as they pushed the margin back into double figures at 55-42 with a 15-3 run, eight coming from JT Yoho and five by Minnis.

Wright State enjoyed a double-figure advantage the rest of the way, going up as many as 65-45 on two Joe Thomasson free throws at the 1:19 mark.

The Raiders shot 47 percent for the contest compared to 41 percent for the Racers and WSU also hit 14 of 16 foul shots while MSU was just seven of 18.  Wright State also led in points in the paint (28-22) and points off of turnovers (14-6).

Four Raiders scored in double figures, led by Yoho's 19 off the bench.  Michael Karena had 18 while Alstork and Minnis added 10 each.
