The Wright State men's basketball team rallied from an early 11-point deficit to lead by 10 at halftime, but managed just 23 points in the second half as Green Bay posted a 76-68 win Monday night at the Resch Center.

The Phoenix led 14-3 just 3:42 into the contest, only to see WSU answer with a 9-2 burst over the next 1:30, four of those coming from Joe ThomassonMark Alstork later gave the Raiders their first lead of the game at 28-26 with a fast-break three-pointer at the 8:58 mark.

Wright State's advantage was just 32-31 before the Raiders closed out the half with a 13-4 run over the final four minutes of the half, seven by Michael Karena, to make it 45-35 at the break.

WSU shot 53 percent from the field in the opening 20 minutes and hit all four foul shot attempts, while Green Bay shot 37 percent and made 10 of 19 at the line.

A 15-5 run by the Phoenix to start the second half tied the game at 50 and Green Bay took the lead for good at 58-56 on a Tevin Findlay three with 10:36 remaining.  The margin was just four until GB made it 74-64 with two minutes to play with a 7-1 burst.

Wright State shot 47 percent for the game, but just 39 percent in the second half, while the Phoenix shot 46 percent after halftime to end up at 41 percent.  The bigger difference, though, came at the foul line as Green Bay was 23 of 37, 13 of 18 in the second half, while the Raiders were six of 10, two of six in the second half.

JT Yoho came off the bench to post a double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds to pace WSU while Alstork also had 17 points, Karena 13 and Thomasson 11.

Khalil Small led Green Bay (9-5, 2-0 Horizon) with 20 points while Carrington Love had 15, Jordan Fouse 11 and Charles Cooper 10.

Wright State (7-8, 1-1 Horizon) wraps up the three-game road swing on Saturday, January 9, with a 1:00 contest at league newcomer Northern Kentucky.
