Baseball Falls at #8 North Carolina State

The Wright State baseball team suffered its first loss of the season Saturday, falling at #8 North Carolina State 6-1.
The Raiders opened the scoring with a run in the second as Ryan Fucci reached on an error, stole second and scored as John Brodner doubled down the left field line.
The Wolfpack, though, tied it with a run of their own in the second, added another in the third and then broke the game open with four runs in the sixth.
WSU had a chance to tie it in the sixth, loading the bases with no outs on walk and two errors, but a strikeout and double play ended the threat.
Wright State (5-1) and North Carolina State (4-2) close out the three-game series Sunday at 1:00.
