@WSU_TF_XC Competes at NCAA Regionals

The Raider cross country teams closed out their season in Terra Haute on Friday at the NCAA Great Lakes Regionals.
 
In the women's 6k race, which featured 225 runners from 32 schools, the Raiders placed 18th overall in team score and had three runners in the top 100. This performance marks the highest place ever that Wright State has achieved at the NCAA Great Lakes Regionals.
 
In a field of 31 schools and 205 runners, the men placed 23rd overall and had one top-60 runner at the 10k distance.
 
For the women, junior Shelby Nolan set the pace for the Raiders. With a finish time of 22:00.09, Nolan's time will cement her performance in the Raiders' record book as it represents the eighth fastest time in the 6k distance. Senior Aurora Turner with a time of 22:11.96 and senior Hailey Brumfield with a time of 22:23.82 rounded out the top finishes for the Raiders.
 
In the men's 10k, junior Nathan Dunn continued his stellar season placing 60th overall with a time of 32:22.33. In all six races this fall, Dunn has never placed outside of the top 60 runners and is credited with three top-10 finishes.
