Baseball Falls in Opener at Tulane

The Wright State baseball team kept the game close and led early but fell at Tulane Friday night in the season opener 4-3.
JD Orr was two for three in the game with an RBI and two walks to lead the Raiders. Zach Weatherford, Matt Morrow, Gabe Snyder, Bentley Jones and Chase Slone each had a hit for the Raiders. Ryan Weiss started and pitched 5.2 innings with five strikeouts. Jeremy Randolph pitched the final two innings, giving up one run and one hit while taking the loss.
WSU is now 0-1 while the Green Wave goes to 1-0.
