Raiders Sweep Milwaukee

The Wright State baseball team continued Horizon League play Friday afternoon with a doubleheader sweep of Milwaukee at Nischwitz Stadium.  The Raiders won 6-5 and 10-2.

In game one, Seth Gray led the way with a pair of doubles, two runs and an RBI as Gabe Snyder added two RBI on a first inning homerun.  Ryan Weiss pitched seven innings, giving up eight hits, two earned runs and two strikeouts.  Jeremy Randolph and Derek Hendrixson finished the game with an inning each. Hendrixson picked up his fourth save as Weiss is now 4-0.

In game two, Wright State had five players with two hits each from Matt Morrow, Peyton Burdick, Gabe Snyder, Zane Harris and Alex Alders.  Morrow and Alders each had triples with two RBI while Morrow, Harris and Snyder added doubles.  Snyder also had a homerun.  Daniel Kruezer pitched six innings for the win, giving up two earned runs and striking out three.
