@WSU_WTennis Hosts Final Regular Season Weekend

The Wright State women's tennis team will conclude its regular season this weekend at home with two key Horizon League matches.

They will be visited by Oakland on Saturday at 2:00 pm at Cedarville University, and will finish with Detroit Mercy on Sunday at 9:00 am at South Regency Tennis and Fitness Center.  This weekend, WSU will honor its lone senior Karoline Haller for her tremendous four-year career at WSU.

Haller is 11-15 on the season playing all her matches at the number one spot. She has had various accolades throughout her career, including two First-Team All-Horizon League honors. She has also teamed with Haley Morgan to be named HL Doubles Team of the Week this year.  WSU is 17-11 on the season, and 5-2 in Horizon League play. They are coming off a 6-1 loss to Youngstown State, but will be ready to bounce back for two crucial matches that will determine their seeding for the Horizon League Tournament.

Oakland

The Golden Grizzlies are an even 10-10 on the season, and are right behind the Raiders in the Horizon League standings at 4-3. They are coming off a road victory against Detroit Mercy in their only match last weekend.  The Raiders lost last year's meeting 4-3.

Detroit Mercy

The Titans have earned a 7-15 overall record, and 2-5 in Horizon League play. They have dropped their last four matches, but will get a chance to play Northern Kentucky on Saturday before coming to Dayton to visit the Raiders.  The Raiders lost last year's meeting 4-3.
