Riding a four-game winning streak, the Wright State baseball team will host a mid-week, non-conference tilt against Kent State Tuesday at 3 pm at Nischwitz Stadium.
The Raiders have won 10 of the last 11 games, including a sweep this past weekend at Youngstown State. Senior Gabe Snyder also became the school's all-time home run leader as he hit his 14th round tripper of the season and 43rd in his career. Peyton Burdick is hitting .362 on the season with 46 RBI and 15 doubles while Snyder is hitting a .344 clip with 54 RBI. Ryan Weiss, Derek Hendrixson and Zane Collins picked up the wins at YSU as Hendrixson, usually a late-inning reliever, made his first start.
Wright State is 11-2 at home and boast a 28-13 overall record. The Raiders sit in the top spot of the Horizon League at 16-5 and will host second place UIC this weekend.
KENT STATE
Kent State is currently 28-12 and 13-5 and are also riding a four-game winning streak after taking three games at Toledo over the weekend. KSU is also in first place of the MAC.
