@WSU_WTennis Travels to NE Ohio

The Wright State women's tennis team will travel to matchup with two Horizon League opponents. They oppose Cleveland State at 10:00 am on Saturday, and will be back on the court on Sunday to face Youngstown State at 11:00 am. The Raiders are playing great tennis and will look to continue building on that as they have won their last eight matches.

WSU enters with a 17-9 overall record on the season, and are tied atop the Horizon League standings for first place at 5-0 with Youngstown State. The Raiders dominated their opponents last weekend by picking up two conference victories against Milwaukee and Green Bay, while also coming out victorious against Wittenberg. Luisa Pelayo has the best winning percentage of .900 in the Horizon League at the number three position on the season. Also, Karoline Haller and Haily Morgan have the most wins at the number one doubles in the conference as they have earned 16 wins on the season.

Cleveland State

The Vikings are 8-11 overall, but have found much more success in conference play with a record of 4-1 against Horizon League opponents. They defeated Detroit Mercy 4-3, and Oakland 6-1 in their last two matches.

Youngstown State

After starting the season slow, the Penguins have been red hot as of late. They enter with an 11-9 record, but have won their last six games. They are the only team tied with the Raiders in first place in the Horizon League, and this match will be a big factor in determining the Horizon League regular season championship.
