@WSUBaseball Knocks Off Falcons

Matt Morrow, Peyton Burdick and Gabe Snyder led the Wright State baseball team to a 5-2 non-conference win at Bowling Green Tuesday afternoon with multi-hit performances.

Burdick picked up three hits, including a double and an RBI with a stolen base while Snyder continued his hot streak with two hits, a double and two RBI.  Morrow had two hits with one of the Raiders' five stolen bases.  Zach Weatherford and Seth Gray each added a hit and an RBI as Alex Alders and Bentley Jones rounded out the offense with a hit each.

Seven pitchers found their way to the mound for the Raiders as Jason Foster threw the first four innings, giving up just one run on three hits while striking out four.  Zane Collins (6-1) pitched a hitless fifth inning to earn the win for WSU.  Daniel Kreuzer, Bear Bellomy, Mitch Gremling and Evan Moores pitched the next three innings while Jeremy Randolph worked the ninth to get his fourth save.

The Raiders, now 32-15, will host Northern Kentucky to end the regular season this weekend.  WSU and NKU will play at Fifth Third Field Thursday night at 6:30.  Free tickets can be picked up at the gate, which open at 5:30 pm.
