The Wright State baseball team couldn't hold off a comeback by the UIC Flames Sunday afternoon, falling 7-4 at Nischwitz Stadium.
The Raiders led 3-0 after four innings and 4-2 after the fifth, but the Flames plated a run in the seventh and four runs in the top of the eighth inning to salvage a win in the three-game series.
Wright State managed to score its four runs on just three hits as Seth Gray used a two-run home run as Matt Morrow and Chase Slone picked up the other RBI. Gabe Snyder tripled, and Zach Weatherford accounted for the other hit while adding a stolen base.
Jeremy Randolph took the loss after Zane Collins started, pitching six innings with three earned runs and four strikeouts.
The Raiders, now 31-14, 18-6, will play at Louisville Tuesday night.
