@WSUWBasketball Rounds out Road Trip Sunday Afternoon

The Wright State women's basketball team will complete their three-game road trip on Sunday when they travel to Cleveland State. Due to inclement weather, the tip-off has been moved to 3:00pm on Sunday afternoon. The game will still be available to view on ESPN+.

Wright State
The Raiders (13-5, 5-1) are coming off of their first conference loss of the season and their first loss in one month. On Friday night Wright State found themselves having to battle back against a stifling Youngstown State defense. After beginning the game shooting just 1-12 from the field, the Raiders were never able to chip away at the lead that the Penguins had built in the early game. Wright State rebounded in shooting percentage for the rest of the game, shooting 41.8 but it was too little against Youngstown State who shot 46.8 percent in the game and 54.8 percent in the second half.

Starters Michal Miller (13.7) and Mackenzie Taylor (12.0) are leading the offense for the Raiders. Also averaging in double-digits, Angel Baker is coming into the game in relief and is averaging 10.8 points per game. On Friday night Baker came off of the bench to score a game-high 27 points in 27 minutes of action. Symone Simmons (8.0) and Tyler Frierson (7.0) are leading the Raiders in rebounds and currently stand at 3rd and 11th in the conference, respectively.

Cleveland State
The Vikings (7-11, 4-3) are coming off of a 76-47 win against the Northern Kentucky Norse on Friday night. Freshman Forward Savana Crockett has been tabbed as Horizon League Freshman of the Week four time this season.

Cleveland State is led by Mariah Miller and Jade Ely, the 2nd and 5th scoring leaders in the Horizon League. The junior guard Miller is averaging 16.1 points per game and junior guard Ely is adding another 14.8 per contest for the Vikings. Cleveland State has two other players averaging double-digits in Mariah White (11.8) and Savanna Crockett (10.9). The Vikings also feature the Horizon League's number one rebounder in Savanna Crockett who is able to pull in an average of 9.4 per game, 1.4 more rebounds more than the next player in the league standings.
