After a three-game road trip, on which the Raiders went 2-1, the Wright State women's basketball team will return to the Nutter Center on Friday night for a game against the Oakland Grizzlies. Tipoff is slated for 7:00pm.Â

Wright State
The Raiders (14-5, 6-1) rebounded on Sunday afternoon with a 70-65 win at Cleveland State after losing their perfect conference record on Friday night against Youngstown State. Against the Vikings five Raiders scored in double-digits with center Tyler Frierson leading with 14 points. Symone Simmons pulled in 13 rebounds while also adding 13 points. Michal Miller contributed another 13 points while shooting 3-5 from behind the arc.

On the season, the Raider offense is led by Michal Miller (13.7ppg), Mackenzie Taylor (12.0ppg), and Angel Baker (10.3ppg) who comes off of the bench in relief. Symone Simmons leads the team in rebounds with 8.3 per game, currently good for second in Horizon League standing. With 876 rebounds, Simmons is currently 21 shy of breaking the all-time Wright State rebound record.

The Grizzlies (4-14, 1-6) are coming off of 53-77 loss to Green Bay on Sunday afternoon. In the loss, Oakland could not counter Green Bay's hot shooting as the Phoenix went 11-for-19 in the second half finishing the game 24-for-48 while also going 22-for-25 from the free throw line.

On offense the Grizzlies are led by Taylor Jones who is averaging 14.4 points per game. Jones currently stands at 5th in Horizon League scoring. On defense Chloe Guingrich leads the Grizzlies in rebounds, hauling in 7.2 per game.
