Wright State
The Raiders (20-6, 12-2) are coming off a 78-56 win against the Northern Kentucky Norse last Saturday afternoon. In Saturday's win,
Mackenzie Taylor led all players with 17 points, shooting 3-7 from the floor and 4-5 from the foul line.
Symone Simmons added 10 points in addition to her six rebounds.
Dasia Evans and
Tyler Frierson tied a game-high with eight rebounds each.
On offense,
Mackenzie Taylor moved into the team's number one scoring position and now average 12.2 points per game.
Michal Miller is just behind Taylor with a 12.1 scoring average. Taylor and Miller now rank as the ninth and tenth scorers in the Horizon League, respectively. Conference-leading rebounder
Symone Simmons is pulling an average of 9.2 each game, an 0.3 average better than the league's second leading rebounder.
Cleveland State
The Vikings (10-16, 7-8) are entering the Nutter Center coming off of a 76-63 loss to the Green Bay Phoenix at home. Although four Vikings scored in double-digits, Cleveland State could not keep up with a hot Green Bay as they shot greater than 50% from the floor against the Vikings. With the loss to Green Bay, Cleveland State is 4-6 in their last ten games and are currently on a three game skid.
The Vikings have four players averaging in double-digits on offense with Mariah Miller (15.8) and Jade Ely (14.8) leading the way. The Vikings' ball control is led by Savanna Crockett who pulls in an average of 8.7 rebounds per outing, good for 3rd in the league averages.
