@WSUBaseball Travels to East Carolina

After a big victory against #18 Oklahoma State on Sunday, the Wright State baseball team (2-4) will travel to Greenville, North Carolina for a weekend round robin against Western Carolina, East Carolina, and Utah.

The weekend marks the final series on the Raider road trip of ten games before the home opener against Xavier on Wednesday, March 6. Seth Gray has lead the Raider offensive efforts this season. Through five games, the junior leads the team in batting average (.375) and RBI (6). Gray hit 3 for 4 in the win over Ole Miss and went 3 for 5 in the Raider victory against Oklahoma State and added a double with two runs and two RBI in that game.

Daniel Kruezer pitched effectively for Wright State in the win on Sunday and is expected to make his second start of the season against Utah. Kruezer recorded seven strikeouts through five innings of work last time out. Bear Bellomy and Zane Collins are expected to make starts on Friday (vs. Western Carolina) and Saturday (at East Carolina) respectively.
