Box Score The Wright State women's tennis team fell 0-7 in their second match of the day to the Ball State Cardinals on Saturday night. The loss moves the Raiders' record to 8-10 on the season. The Raiders' conference schedule is set to begin on Saturday when they travel to Northern Kentucky to take on the conference-rival Norse at 2:30 PM. 

Starting off against the Cardinals, the Raiders were unable to get an early point after dropping their doubles to the high-powered Ball State offense.First pairing Luisa Pelayo and Grace Whitney were able to take the match away from Audrey Berger and Rebecca Herrington by a score of 6-3. Ball State's Berger and Herrington were named the Mid-American Conference Doubles Team of the Week last week by conference officials. 

On court three, Anna Marie Reynolds and Madison Riley fell 0-6 to Isabelle Dohanics and Peyton Gollhofer. The Cardinals were able to secure the doubles-point on court one with Grace Whitney and Luisa Pelayo falling to Audrey Berger and Rebecca Herrington by a score of 6-3. 

Moving to singles matches, three of the Raiders were able to force their opponents into extra sets but fell short of tallying a team point for Wright State. Madison Riley fell in three matches by score of 6-1, 4-6, 6-3 to Sarah Swiderski. On court three, Luisa Pelayo lost to Peyton Gollhofer by scores of 4-6, 6-2, and 6-2. Grace Whitney took on Lilya Hadab on court five where she was able to take the first match 6-4 but fell in the second 6-7. Whitney was able to keep it close to Hadab but lost the tiebreaker by a score of 7-10.
