
Raiders return home Friday after six straight on the road

After spending the last six games on the road, the Raiders (22-11, 7-5) will return to Nischwitz Stadium this weekend for a three-game Horizon League series against Oakland (8-21, 6-6). Friday's game is set for 3:00 PM, while the first of game of the double-header on Saturday is set to begin at 1:00 PM.
The Raiders have brought the power so far this season, with a league leading 31 homeruns. Raiders third baseman Seth Gray has helped that number as of late, hitting a homerun in three of the Raiders' last four games, including two at the Joe Nuxhall Classic. On top of leading the Horizon League in homeruns, Wright State is also leading the league in triples (15), doubles (63), on base percentage (.408), stolen bases (76) and runs (259) while also having the fewest total strikeouts on the season (190).
Bear Bellomy is set to be the Raiders' starting pitcher on Friday, coming in with a 3-3 record and a 3.94 ERA. Zane Collins and Bradley Brehmer are set to take the mound for the Raiders on Saturday. Collins has posted a league leading 5 wins in a 5-4 record on the season with a 5.10 ERA. Brehmer comes in with a perfect 4-0 record and a 4.35 ERA.
The Golden Grizzlies (8-21, 6-6) enter the weekend series winning three of their last four matchups, including 2 wins in a Horizon League series with Milwaukee. Sophomore Mario Camilletti leads the Grizzlies offense with a .308 batting average and a .463 on base percentage.
