@WSU_WTennis Hosts Three This Weekend

The Wright State women's tennis team will host three teams this weekend. On Saturday, the Raiders will play Horizon League team Youngstown State at 2:30 PM at the outdoor courts at Cedarville University. On Sunday, the Raiders will play conference team Cleveland State at 1:00 PM before returning to the courts at 4:00 PM against Wittenberg at South Regency Tennis Club.

Prior their match against Wittenberg, Haily Morgan will be recognized for Senior Day in the last home match of her career at Wright State. 

Wright State
The Raiders are currently sitting at 12-12 this spring and hold a 3-2 record in conference play. Last weekend, the Raiders split their two conference games with a 6-1 win at Green Bay and a 3-4 loss against Milwaukee. 

Jillian Milano and Madison Riley lead the Raiders in singles competition with 15-9 and 15-8 records, respectively. Wright State boasts some of the best doubles teams in the league in Luisa Pelayo/Grace Whitney(13-5), Andreea Craciun/Jillian Milano (13-5), and Madison Riley/Haily Morgan (13-7). 

Youngstown State
The Penguins will enter Dayton with a 4-16 record and stand at 1-4 in league play. The Penguins have dropped their four most recent matches, all against Horizon League opponents. Last weekend, Youngstown State put in two closes matches against Detroit Mercy and Oakland, both 3-4 losses for the Penguins. Before coming to Dayton, Youngstown State will face Northern Kentucky on Saturday afternoon. 

The Penguins leader in singles play is Tamara Tuefl who holds an 8-11 record. On the doubles courts, Lisa Khamassi and Cassandra Moraleja have a 4-3 record to lead the Penguins' pairings. 

Cleveland State
The Vikings are 12-7 this spring and sit at the top of the Horizon League standings with a 5-0 record. Cleveland State is set to play Northern Kentucky on Saturday afternoon before making their way north to play the Raiders on Sunday. 

Kateryna Avram sits at the top of the singles' records in the Horizon Conference with a 15-3 record this spring. Sian Payne and Gaby Shoenberg are 4-0 in doubles competition this spring to lead the Vikings. 

Wittenberg 
The Tigers are 8-5 and 0-2 in the North Coast Athletic Conference this season. Before playing Wright State for their Senior Day match, the Tigers are set to play DePauw on Friday night. 

Sarah Wilke leads the Tigers in singles competition with a 10-2 record and is also part of the Tigers' best doubles team alongside Kathleen McGuff. Together the two have a 10-2 record. 

The Raiders will end the regular season next weekend at Oakland and at Detroit Mercy.
