Raiders finish third, two inside the top 10 individually at the Flyer Invitational

The Wright State golf team finished third at the Flyer Invitational at NCR Country Club, carding a two-under final round team score on Tuesday to finish the tournament even overall.

Austin Schoonmaker was five-under on Tuesday as he climbed the individual leaderboard and finished tied for fourth at three-under overall for the tournament. Bryce Haney was also inside the top 10, finishing at even par overall in a tie for eighth after a one-over final round.

Mikkel Mathiesen finished tied for 17th at four-over overall after a final round 70, while Cameron Willis and Tyler Goecke were both tied for 26th at six-over for the tournament after final rounds of 72 and 74, respectfully.

The Raiders now get set to wrap up the regular season next week when they host the Wright State Invitational on April 18 and 19 at Heatherwoode Golf Club. The Horizon League Championship is April 25-27 and will be played at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex in West Lafayette, Indiana.
