Raiders return home to The Nisch this weekend

The Wright State baseball team returns home for the first time in over 50 days to host Milwaukee in a four-game series as the Raiders close out their Horizon League regular season schedule with eight home games. The Raiders are coming off of a four-game sweep at Purdue Fort Wayne, while Milwaukee dropped three of four at home against Oakland. This is the first and only regular season series between the two teams this season.
Due to anticipated weather on Sunday, the Raiders and Panthers will play a pair of doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday, with the opening game set for 12 p.m. both days with the second game set for approximately 3 p.m.

The Raiders hit .451 as a team with an .870 slugging percentage, totaling 28 doubles, 15 home runs and two triples as 13 different players drove in multiple RBI and five Raiders had two or more homers, paced by Alec Sayre's three homers and 11 RBI. On the mound, Wright State pitchers struck out 50 batters in 34 innings, allowing just 16 runs, many in the later innings once the games were out of hand. ake Schrand tallied 12 strikeouts, with fellow starters Bradley Brehmer, Austin Cline and Alex Theis all striking out eight in their starts.
