Raiders set to close fall at NCR Country Club on Monday and Tuesday

DAYTON – The Wright State golf team is set to wrap up its fall campaign on Monday and Tuesday when the Raiders play at NCR Country Club in Kettering as part of the Flyer Invitational.

Wright State is coming off a team victory at the Xavier Invitational last week as the only team to finish under par as Tyler Goecke captured top individual honors as well. The Raiders also have another fall team win under their belt from the Earl Yestingmeier Invitational back in September where Mikkel Mathieson won the individual title, while Wright State also finished second at the Golfweek Fall Challenge and fourth at the Georgia State Invitational.

The Raiders enter the tournament as defending champions after claiming the team title last fall.

The field will play 36 holes on Monday and then a final 18 holes on Tuesday, with the 54-hole event will be played on the South Course at par 72 and 7,000 yards with a 9 a.m. shotgun start both days. Joining the Raiders and host Flyers will be Ball State, Bowling Green, Cleveland State, Eastern Michigan, Illinois, Illinois State, Loyola, Marquette, Marshall, Oakland, Ohio State and Xavier.
