The Raiders compiled a 3-1 record at Nischwitz Stadium last week after collecting a 23-7 midweek win over Miami (OH) and a series victory against Army. WSU batted .287 with 13 doubles, four triples, four homers, and 38 runs scored over the four-game stretch. The pitching staff possessed a 5.82 ERA and recorded double-digit strikeouts in three games.
HISTORY VS. TOLEDO
Wright State leads the all-time series 18-10. The Raiders have won eight of the last nine meetings against the Rockets, including three in a row dating back to 2016. The teams will meet again on Wednesday, April 12, in Toledo.
SCOUTING THE ROCKETS
Toledo is 9-5 overall and 3-0 in the Mid-American Conference, boasting three-game sweeps over Middle Tennessee and Miami (OH). The Rockets have also defeated East Tennessee State (6-4), USC Update (11-3), and UT Martin (8-3) on the road in non-conference action.
As a team, Toledo tops the MAC with 26 home runs while ranking second in slugging percentage (.499), hits (145), earned run average (4.73), and shutouts (1). Owen Jackson is batting .322 with five doubles, seven homers, and 15 RBI. Garret Pike has team-leading marks in batting average (.368), RBI (17), and runs scored (15).

Since 2014, WSU has boasted a combined record of 169-36 (.824) at Nischwitz Stadium. The Raiders have won 20-plus home games in eight consecutive seasons, excluding the COVID-shortened 2020 campaign. In 2021, Wright State went 21-1 (.954) at Nischwitz Stadium, the highest home-winning percentage in NCAA Division I.

Andrew Patrick has slashed .356/.420/.667 with four doubles, two triples, two home runs, nine RBI, and 10 runs scored through 13 starts in 2023. The sophomore outfielder has added a team-leading five stolen bases and two hit by pitch. Patrick helped WSU to a 12-9 victory over Kentucky (2/25), going 3-of-4 at the plate with a double, two homers, and five RBI. He reached base five times on two tripes, a bunt single, and two walks against Miami (OH) at home.
HE GETS ON BASE
Dating back to last season,
Justin Riemer has reached base in 21 consecutive games. In 2023, he is batting .323 with a double, three homers, seven RBI, and 12 runs scored. The Arlington, Virginia native tops the Horizon League in walks (15) and on-base percentage (.562). Riemer walked a career-high five times in WSU's 23-7 victory over Miami (OH), tied for the second-highest mark in NCAA Division I baseball this season.

BATTER OF THE WEEK
Gehrig Anglin has batted .438 (7-for-16) with four doubles, a home run, five RBI, and five runs scored over WSU's last four games en route to Horizon League Batter of the Week honors. The redshirt senior recorded two three-hit performances and an extra-base hit in three games while also tallying two walks and a stolen base in the span.

WSU returns 16 letterwinners and 11 starters from last year's team, including eight All-Horizon League recipients.
