DAYTON – Embracing the love of the game, eight Wright State baseball players are competing across five collegiate summer ball leagues.
Two pairs of Raiders will take the field together, as
Cam Gilkerson and
Nate Manley join the Wilmington Sharks of the Coastal Plain League, while
Coy Angel and
Parker Falkenstein suit up for the Woodstock River Bandits in the Valley League. Another duo –
Evan Boeckmann and
J.J. Thompson – will stay closer to home in the Ohio Valley League.
Parker Thomas is spending his summer with the Duluth Huskies of the Northwoods League, while freshman catcher Noah Cassel has headed east to play for the Tarabor River Bandits in the Old North State League.
Patrick Fultz is playing the second-half of the summer season in the Prospect League with Champion City.
