NORTON, OH – The Wright State men's and women's cross country teams wrapped up their 2024 seasons on Friday afternoon in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional at the Silver Creek Metro Park, with the Raider men finishing 27th and the Wright State women finishing 30th.
Blake Rodgers paced the Raider men, finishing 129th with his 32:08.8 mark in the men's 10,000-meter run, followed by
Evan McPherson in 144th (32:21.3) and
Andrew Bugner in 149th (32:31.9). Wright State also saw
Preston Jackson (152, 32:32.9),
Ethan Neblock (168, 32:53.6),
Patrick Statzer (179, 33:15.4) and
Kalib Tolle (190, 33:36.5) compete in the men's race.
Emma Johnson led the Wright State women, turning in a time of 21:41.1 to finish 118th in the women's 6,000-meter run, followed by
Shelby Hept and
Reece Barnitz in 193rd and 194th, respectively, with times of 23:10.0 and 23:12.1. The Raiders also saw
Elle Lambert (206, 23:27.2),
Carolyn Johnson (210, 23:42.0),
Samantha Seas (212, 23:45.0) and
Anna Johnson (215, 23:49.2) compete in the women's race.
