CEDARVILLE – The Wright State cross country teams raced as part of deep fields on Friday night in the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Challenge, hosted by Cedarville University, with the Wright State women grabbing a 7th-place team finish among 25 teams and the Raider men finishing 15th among 26 teams.
Wright State will race again on Saturday morning, with 10 Raiders competing at the John McNichols Invitational in Terre Haute, Indiana in the men's 8K race, set for a 9 a.m. start.

Emma Johnson finished 27th with her time of 23:50.2 in the women's 6K race to pace seven Raiders, with
Reece Barnitz coming in 42nd at 24:18.6.
Shelby Hept and
Samantha Seas were stride for stride, finishing 55th and 58th with times of 24:36.9 and 24:39.9, respectively, while
Anna Johnson turned in a 25:00.0 time to finish 79th.
Kaitlin Thomas (104, 25:36.4) and
Alexa Magoteaux (115, 25:54.6) rounded out the Raider finishers in the women's race that featured 314 competitors.
On the men's side,
Jacob Craig finished 82nd with a time of 26:55.4 to lead seven Raiders in the men's 8K race, followed by
Ian Ricker (91, 27:03.3) and
Matthew Lee (97, 27:05.4) as Wright State had three finishers inside the Top 100.
Reece Page (129) ran a 27:27.2 mark, with
Logan Eggert (185) notching a 28:11.5 time.
Nathan Sheriff (225, 28:47.9) and
Alex Combs (379, 32:55.0) wrapped up the Raider finishers in the men's race that saw 432 participants.
Following this weekend's meets, the Raiders will next be in action again Friday, October 4 when they race in the Joe Piane Invitational hosted by Notre Dame.
