Cross Country to race in two events on Friday

DAYTON – The Wright State cross country teams are back in action with a pair of Friday meets, with the Raider men competing at the Bradley Pink Classic on and the Wright State women and select men competing at the Falcon Invitational.

The Raiders will have 10 men running at the Bradley Pink Classic at Newman Golf Course as part of the 52-team field. Wright State will compete in the men's 8K 'Red race at 2:30 p.m. ET. Other Horizon League teams in the field include: Milwaukee, Purdue Fort Wayne and Green Bay, with future HL foe Northern Illinois and regional foes Dayton and Xavier also part of the lineup.
 
Wright State will have 25 Raiders competing at the Falcon Invitational, with nine men and 16 women running at the Bowling Green-hosted meet at Mel Brodt Cross Country Course The men's 8K will go off at 4:30 p.m., followed at 5:10 p.m. by the women's 6K. Other participating teams include: Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Akron, Kent State, Marshall, Cleveland State, Ohio, Robert Morris and Oakland.
 
Following this weekend's action, Wright State will have one final tune up for the postseason when the Raiders host the Wild Bill Invite on October 24 at Fairborn Community Park. The Horizon League Championship meet is slated for November 1 at Purdue Fort Wayne.
