DADE CITY, FL – The Wright State golf team opened its spring schedule with a sixth-place team finish, while Shane Ochs grabbed the individual title Tuesday at the Lake Jovita Invitational in Florida.
Â
Ochs, who began his final 18 holes two shots back of the 36-hole individual leader, was nearly flawless on Tuesday, recording seven birdies over his final round with just one bogey on the way to a six-under 66. The low round pushed Ochs to a two-shot individual win over Richmond's Carson Baez, who was two-under on Tuesday after beginning the day in the lead.

CJ Scohy finished 24th at one-under for the tournament after a final round even par 72 that featured three birdies and three bogeys.
