Raiders set for Thursday matchup inside the Nutter Center

DAYTON - The Wright State men's basketball team welcomes Detroit Mercy to the Nutter Center for a 7 p.m. tipoff on Thursday night. Fans can follow the action several ways - watching on ESPN+, via live stats or by tuning in to the Wright State Radio Network - 101.5 FM 'The Fridge' and WING 1410 AM. Chris Collins and Jim Brown will have all the play-by-play on the radio and television feeds.
Fans can tune into 101.5 FM 'The Fridge' or WING 1410 AM live over the air in the Dayton metro area, as well stream the station live nationwide through a variety of free streaming apps. The iHeartRadio app, the TuneIn Radio app and the Audacy app are all FREE and each carry both stations. Michael Imariagbe notched his second-straight double-double on Saturday night as the Wright State men's basketball team tallied a 73-68 Homecoming victory over Purdue Fort Wayne. Kellen Pickett finished with 14 points and Michael Cooper notched 13 points off the bench while Solomon Callaghan had 11 points as the final Raider in double figures.
RAIDERS ON A ROLL
The Raiders have won 11 of their last 13 contests dating back to late December and are currently 9-3 at home. Including Thursday night, Wright State has three more regular season home games remaining.Â

Michael Imariagbe turned in back-to-back double-doubles last week, averaging 17.5 points per game and 14.5 rebounds per game against RMU and Purdue Fort Wayne.Â

Kellen Pickett connected on four three-pointers Feb. 7 against Purdue Fort Wayne after entering the contest 5-of-25 from deep on the season.

Thursday will be the 73rd meeting all-time between Wright State and Detroit Mercy, with the Raiders leading the series 44-28 and have won 21 of the last 24 overall over the last eight seasons. The first meeting came back on Jan. 5, 1994, a 78-71 Wright State road victory inside Calihan Hall. Wright State won the first meeting back on January 9 as Andrea Holden led five Raiders in double figures with a career-high 17 points.Â

- Detroit Mercy is 10-13 overall with a 7-7 Horizon League mark, coming off a loss last Saturday at Green Bay that snapped a two-game winning streak.

Wright State graduate transfer Sam Alamutu grabbed four rebounds on Saturday to reach the 500 career rebound mark. Alamutu played three seasons at Vermont and amassed 428 rebounds in 92 games. He currently averages 14.2 minutes per night for the Raiders with a 3.0 rebounds per game mark.
BOUNCED BACK
Wright State shot just 35.4 percent on Feb. 4 at Robert Morris, its lowest shooting percentage of the season and just the third game the Raiders have been held to less than a 40 percent mark. The Raiders responded with a 47.2 percent shooting night on Feb. 7 against Purdue Fort Wayne, including connecting at 58.6 percent in the first half.
