
Raiders set for 2026 Horizon League Championship

DAYTON — The Wright State golf team will begin its quest for a 10th Horizon League Championship in program history on Saturday at the Mission Inn Resort & Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida, as the Raiders look to defend their back-to-back team titles. Individually, a Raider has won the HL title three of the last four championships.

Action gets underway on Saturday with 18 holes, before the Raiders and the rest of the tournament field will play the second round on Sunday and the final round on Monday.

The grouping of Shane Ochs, Timmy Hollenbeck, Adam Horn, Ian Asch and CJ Scohy will tee off for Wright State, with Jonas Borland as the alternate.

The Raiders have six top-five finishes in 10 total tournaments this season spanning the fall and spring schedule, highlighted by a sixth-straight team title at the Wright State Invitational this month. Hollenbeck was the Wright State Invitational individual champion for the second-straight season as well.

The Raiders' nine team HL titles are the second-most in Horizon League history, trailing only Cleveland State's 10 team titles. Wright State has finished first or second in each of the last six Horizon League Championships. On the individual side, Wright State's nine titles lead all schools, while Wright State holds the lowest team round score in HL history after its 277 card in the third round of the 2000 Championship.

The El Campeon Course at the Mission Hills Resort & Club will play as a par 72, 6,765 yard course this week for the Horizon League Championship.
