2006: Appeared in three games...recorded at-bats against Urbana and two at #24 Miami (FL).

Eastern Michigan: Attended classes there but did not play baseball.

Prep: Lettered three-years for the Chieftains...named All-Central Buckeye League and led the Chieftains to a 25-4 record and the CBL title...hit six home runs and stole 22 bases as a senior...also lettered in football, being named to the All-League and All-District teams.

Personal: Born Kristopher Douglas Steffen on November 10, 1984...son of Heiner and Susan Steffen...has one brother...brother Erik was a pitcher for the Raiders during the 2005 season.
