2008: Started three games on the mound...tossed two innings against Hiram College (3/26), allowing five hits and three runs...allowed two earned runs - fanning four batters - in three innings of work at Bowling Green (4/1)...struck out three batters and allowed two runs on two hits against Urbana (4/8).

University of Kentucky: Spent one season with the Wildcats as a member of their baseball program. Did not appear in any games while at Kentucky.

Prep: Lettered all four years for the Chieftains...named team MVP during his sophomore, junior and senior seasons...selected as team captain during his final three seasons with BHS...rated the 69th best prospect in the nation by Baseball America as a senior...named OHSAA Player of the Year, Louisville Slugger Ohio Player of the Year and Ohio Gatorade Player of the Year during his senior season...was a top-ten recruit at his position as selected by Collegiate Baseball Magazine...Played in the Aflac All-American Game in August, 2005...garnered First Team All-State honors as a junior and senior...named First Team All-District by the Miami Valley Baseball Coaches Association during his sophomore, junior and senior seasons...was a four-time All-City selection...named to the Central Buckeye Conference All-League team all four years...owns the school career record for ERA and strikeouts...helped BHS to the state semifinals during his junior and senior season...played for head coach Mark Brunswick while at BHS...also lettered twice in basketball and three times in Football and Bowling...named First Team All-League in Football...ganered All-State honors as a quarterback...helped lead BHS to back-to-back OHSAA State Bowling Titles as a sophomore and junior...has bowled 12 perfect games.
