Box Score The Wright State volleyball team won the first two games, including a wild one in the opener, but then had to hold off a Cleveland State rally as the Raiders won in five games Friday night in Horizon League action in Cleveland, winning 39-37, 30-25, 21-30, 17-30, 15-13.

Wright State then jumped out to a 10-4 lead in the second game, thanks in part to three kills from Becca Awaa, and after CSU closed the margin to 25-22, put the game out of reach with three straight points.
Cleveland State, though, started its comeback by hitting .400 in the third game and claimed game four with a 10-1 run midway through. The Vikings then led 10-9 in the fifth game before the Raiders regained the lead on an Alisha Kimbro kill and a block from Awaa and Tara Geegan.
The Vikings tied it again at 11 on a WSU attack error, but another Awaa kill followed by Geegan and Kimbro teaming up on a block gave the Raiders the lead for good and Wright State sealed the win on kills from Geegan and Jenny Schultz.
