Box Score The Wright State volleyball team couldn't overcome a .297 hitting night by Cleveland State as the Vikings won in three sets over the Raiders in Horizon League action Wednesday night in Cleveland, winning 25-18, 25-16, 25-18.
CSU led throughout the first set, jumping out to a 4-0 advantage and eventually building the margin to 16-8. The Vikings outhit the Raiders .364-.152 in winning the set.
WSU had a brief 2-1 lead in the second set following a Brittany Waddell service ace, only to see Cleveland State follow with six straight to take control. The Vikings again had a quick start in the final set, breaking to a 10-3 advantage.
Cleveland State (14-1, 5-1 Horizon) finished with a 45-30 kill margin and outhit the Raiders .297-.098.
Molly Dolson dished out 28 assists.
Wright State (7-11, 2-4 Horizon) heads to Wisconsin this weekend for a pair of Horizon League matches, taking on Green Bay on Saturday at 5:00 Eastern followed by Milwaukee on Sunday at 3:00 Dayton time.
