Box Score The volleyball team dropped a three-set decision at Cleveland State Friday night in Horizon League action, falling to the Vikings 27-25, 25-19, 25-22.
The Raiders led 21-16 in the opening set following a Dani Branco kill, only to see CSU score five straight to tie.  Alaina McAuley broke that string with a kill, but Cleveland State scored three in a row to go up 24-22.
A service error and a block by Anna Norman, Heidi Splinter and Branco again tied things at 24 and the two teams were tied for the 10th time at 25 before the Vikings tallied the final two points.
CSU then broke away from a 17-17 tie in the second set and opened up a 21-17 advantage in the final set with three straight points.
Cleveland State (14-5, 7-1 Horizon) finished with a 56-30 kill advantage and outhit WSU .274-.138.
Splinter paced the Raiders with nine kills and added 13 digs while Ashley Langjahr had eight kills in hitting .500 for the match.  Aimee Schubert dished out 26 assists and Brittany Waddell had 14 digs.
Wright State (2-19, 1-8 Horizon) visits Youngstown State Saturday at 2:00.
