Volleyball Falls at Cleveland State

The Wright State volleyball team dropped a three-set decision at Horizon League leader Cleveland State Friday night.  The Vikings won the match 25-14, 25-13, 25-20.

Cleveland State jumped out to a 13-3 lead in the opening set and 14-5 in taking the second.  A Heidi Splinter kill drew the Raiders to within one at 16-15 in the third set, only to see the Vikings score the next five points.

CSU led 54-19 in kills and .342-.050 in hitting percentage.

Splinter paced WSU with nine kills and had 11 digs while libero Katie Glassmeyer had 14 digs.

Wright State (2-27, 0-11 Horizon) visits Youngstown State Saturday night at 7:00.
