Box Score The Wright State volleyball team dropped a three-set decision to Ball State Saturday morning in Muncie, Indiana.  The Cardinals won the match 25-15, 25-17, 25-16.
BSU broke a 3-3 tie with seven straight points to take control of the first set, but the Raiders bounced back early in the second set, taking a 10-7 advantage on a Marisa Aiello kill followed by a Cardinal attack error.
Ball State, however, scored the next nine points to go in front for good and gradually broke away from an 8-8 deadlock in the final set with a pair of 4-0 bursts.
For the match, the Cardinals held a 52-22 kill edge and outhit WSU .330-.091.
Heidi Splinter led the Raiders with nine kills and added 12 digs while libero Katie Glassmeyer had 15 digs.
Wright State (1-14) wraps up play at the Ball State Tournament Saturday at 4:30 against Pittsburgh.
