Box Score The Wright State volleyball team fell in three sets at Cleveland State Saturday afternoon by the scores of 25-17, 25-18, 25-9.
The Raiders only trailed 14-13 following a Heidi Splinter kill in the opening set, only to see the Vikings score nine of the next 10 points to take control.  CSU then erased an early 7-5 deficit in the second set with a 5-0 run and gradually pulled away.
In the third set, Cleveland State jumped out to a 7-1 margin and maintained the lead the rest of the way.
CSU finished with a 41-22 kill advantage and outhit WSU .319-.077.
Ruffing led the Raiders with eight kills while Splinter and Senf had six each.  Miranda Puthoff dished out 20 assists and Katie Glassmeyer had 17 digs.
Wright State (6-23, 0-11 Horizon) visits Oakland on Friday, November 8, at 7:00.
