Box Score The Wright State volleyball team posted its second sweep in as many days at the Holiday Inn Classic in Terre Haute, Indiana, Saturday, with a 25-22, 25-17, 25-14 victory over Chicago State.
There were six ties in the early going in the opening set before a 6-1 burst, one that featured two kills and two blocks by Marisa Aiello, put WSU ahead for good at 15-10.  The Cougars hung close, though, and only trailed 24-22 before an Ashley Langjahr kill closed out the set.
Another 6-1 run in the second set allowed Wright State to take a 7-2 advantage and maintain control the rest of the way and the Raiders led throughout the third set after scoring the first five points, including two more Langjahr kills.
WSU outhit Chicago State for the match .228-.000 and finished with a 39-27 kill advantage.
Aiello paced the Raiders with 10 kills in hitting .500 overall and added four blocks while Langjahr, who was named to the All-Tournament Team, had nine kills and Katie Klusman eight.  Maddie Lohmeier had 31 assists and Jessie Thornton added 13 digs.
Wright State (2-1) opens the home portion of its schedule on Tuesday, September 2, as the Raiders host Northern Kentucky at the C.J. McLin Gymnasium starting at 7:00.
