Box Score The Wright State volleyball team dropped a four-set to host Belmont Friday night at the Bruin Classic in Nashville, Tennessee.  Belmont won the match 25-17, 16-25, 25-17, 25-22.
A 6-0 run allowed the Bruins to build on a 6-5 edge in taking the opening set, but WSU turned the tables in the second set, jumping out to a 5-1 lead en route to evening the match.
Belmont scored four straight points to go 20-13 in winning the third set and rallied from a 14-12 deficit in the fourth set with five in a row.  The Raiders came within one at 21-20 on an attack error, but could get no closer.
The Bruins finished with just three more kills on the night at 46-43, but outhit WSU .209-.164 and had 10 service aces compared to three for Wright State.
Megan Hopkins led the Raiders with 10 kills in hitting .346 for the match while Katie Klusman had nine kills and Haley Garr eight.  Maddie Lohmeier posted a double-double of 32 assists and 11 digs while Jessie Thornton had 19 digs.
Wright State (3-9) wraps up tournament play Saturday with a pair of matches, taking Liberty at 1:00 Eastern followed by Northern Kentucky at 4:30 Dayton time.
