Baseball Falls in Rubber Game at Georgia

The Wright State baseball team was held to just three hits as Georgia won the rubber game of the three-game series 5-1 Sunday at Foley Field.
Scoreless through three innings, Georgia pushed across single runs in the fourth, sixth and seventh and tacked on two more in the eighth.
Ryan Fucci provided the Raiders with their lone offense of the day with a solo home run to right in the ninth, his third homer of the season.
Wright State (6-6) opens the home portion of its schedule on Tuesday, March 8, as the Raiders host Xavier at Nischwitz Stadium starting at 6:30.
