Box Score The Wright State baseball team jumped out to a 13-1 lead en route to a 14-5 decision at Toledo Wednesday in the final nonleague regular-season road contest of the season.
WSU opened the scoring with a pair of runs in the first on RBI singles by Ryan Fucci and Brad Macciocchi, only to see the Rockets answer with a run of their own in the third.
The Raiders, though, broke the game open with five runs in the fourth. Wright State extended the margin to 13-1 with four runs in the seventh. Fucci doubled in the first run, with JD Orr adding a two-run single and Matt Morrow plating the final run on a fielder's choice.
Toledo scored four runs in the eighth, but WSU rounded out the scoring with a run in the ninth on a Morrow sacrifice fly.
Roman finished with four hits and three runs scored while Fucci had three hits, two RBI and two runs scored and Snyder, DeFevers and Orr two hits and two RBI each.
