Raiders Host Penguins on MLK Day

WSU is now 5-0 in League play.

The first place Wright State men's basketball team will be in action at home for the first time since Dec. 30 as they host Youngstown State Monday afternoon at 4 pm.  The Raiders are currently 13-5 and 5-0 in the Horizon League after winning at Northern Kentucky 84-81 last Thursday night.

The game will air live on ESPN3 and on 106.5 FM/iHeart app with Chris Collins and Jim Brown.  The WSU women host Youngstown State at 1:30 Monday.

Grant Benzinger, who scored his season-best 31 points in 32 minutes at NKU, continues to lead the Raiders with his 15.6 points per game.  Over the last four games, he has gone 16-32 from three-point range.  Loudon Love, Horizon League Freshman of the Week three of the last four weeks, pitched in his sixth double-double of the season at NKU with 17 points and 10 rebounds.

The Raiders lead the overall series 43-12.  WSU won three of the last four meetings and the teams split the matchups last year with each team winning on the road.  The Penguins will host the Raiders on February 3.
