The Wright State baseball team will travel to Youngstown State for a three-game series this weekend as the Raiders play the Penguins Friday at 6 pm, Saturday at 3 pm and Sunday at 1 pm.
The Raiders, 25-13 and 13-5, sit in the Horizon League's top spot. Peyton Burdick was hot last week, hitting .643 in four games with nine hits, three doubles, a triple and nine RBI. He is now hitting .358 on the season while Gabe Snyder is hitting .340 with 49 RBI and 12 home runs. Pitcher Ryan Weiss picked up his win as he started Friday night at Oakland, throwing seven innings and striking out seven with no walks. He is 6-2 with an ERA of 4.02. Reliever Derek Hendrixson has a team-best seven saves.
The Raiders have won 71 times of 105 games against YSU, including sweeping a three-game series at home in mid-April.
YOUNGSTOWN STATE
The Penguins, 12-26 and 7-10 in league play, have won two straight after losing seven games in a row. YSU is coming off a 13-4 win at home over Bowling Green. Blaze Glenn is leading Youngstown State in most areas, including a .341 batting average, 32 RBI and nine home runs. Trey Bridis is hitting .301 with five round trippers, and seven doubles. On the mound, Collins Floyd has three wins in starts and a 3.90 ERA while Greg Dunham has posted four wins.

The Raiders head home for four straight as they host Kent State Tuesday at 3 pm, then UIC for the three-game series, starting Friday.
