Youngstown State scored two runs in the third inning, but the Wright State baseball team rebounded with two in the fourth, two in the fifth and three in the seventh to seal a 7-2 win at YSU Friday night.
All the Raiders runs were scored off solo home runs from Peyton Burdick, Gabe Snyder and two-run blast from Seth Gray. Burdick knocked a three-run homer in the eighth for his second of the night. Snyder's round tripper was his 42nd of his career and tied the Wright State mark held by Bryan Vickers (2002-05). Matt Morrow posted three hits with a double, and a run scored.
Starter Ryan Weiss pitched the first six innings, striking out seven and giving up two earned runs. Jason Foster, Evan Moores, Mitch Gremling and Jeremy Randolph finished the game.
The Raiders are now 26-13 and 14-5. WSU will play a single game Saturday at YSU at 2 pm.
