DAYTON — The Wright State volleyball team hits the road for a pair of important Horizon League matches this weekend, traveling to take on Cleveland State on Friday night at 6 p.m. before visiting Oakland in a 4 p.m. start on Saturday afternoon. With three weekends of pla remaining in the regular season, the Raiders begin play in a tie for second, while both Cleveland State and Oakland are one game back in a tie for third. Fans can follow the action both days on live stats and Saturday's match will also be on ESPN+.

Reilly Zegunis tallied a career-best 23 kills on Tuesday night as Wright State opened a busy week with a four-set victory over visiting Robert Morris. Behind Zegunis, three other Raiders also had double digit kills, with
Aaliyah Byers tallying 11 kills and both
Megan Alders and
Sam Ott finishing with 10 kills. Ott notched another double-double, adding 13 digs to her 10 kills, finishing with three service aces as well. Wright State finished with 10 service aces as a group, with five from
Andrea Bortulin leading the way.
Katie Meyer passed out 48 of the Raiders' 55 assists while
Jenny Wessling had a match-best 25 digs.
HISTORY AGAINST THE VIKINGS
The all-time series now sits at 43-37 in favor of the Raiders after a five-set win at home earlier this season to give Wright State its 11th straight win over Cleveland State dating back to the 2018 season.
Megan Alders and
Callie Martin paced the Raiders in the first meeting, with Alders collecting a match-best 21 kills, while Martin tallied a double-double with a 16-kill, 21-dig effort.
Reilly Zegunis just missed a double-digit kill night of her own as she notched nine kills
SERIES VS. THE GOLDEN GRIZZLIES
Wright State dropped the first meeting in four sets last month but continues to lead the all-time series 18-13 over Oakland.
Andrea Bortulin was pressed into action and delivered her first career double-double, passing out a match high 45 assists and adding 12 digs.

Reilly Zegunis each tallied 13 kills.

Cleveland State comes into Friday at 14-9 overall with an 8-4 Horizon League record and on a five-match win streak. The Vikings have evenly split their wins, with six wins at home and six wins on the road this season, along with two neutral site victories.

Oakland begins the weekend 14-10 with an 8-4 Horizon League mark, winners of their last two matches ahead of a Friday matchup with NKU. The Golden Grizzlies have won their last two home matches and three of the last four overal at home entering the weekend.
